I have had the privilege of being involved with the GCPAAA since graduating from the Citizens Police Academy Class 29.  I have been a Garland Resident for over 19 years and since graduating from the CPA class I have a renewed appreciation and respect for the outstanding job that the men and women of the Garland Police Department do to protect the citizens of Garland on a daily basis.  

 Being a member of the GCPAAA allows me the opportunity to support our department in a variety of activities and events.  Since joining the Alumni, I have been involved with the Officer Cookouts, Star Spangled Fourth Security, Guns and Hoses, Swat Calendar Fund Raising and other club activities. In addition to the GCPAAA I also serve as Crime Watch Coordinator for The Eastern Meadows Neighborhood Association. 

 I look forward to working with the department and Alumni members to help support the Police Department in whatever capacity needed.  It is an honor to serve on the Board for the Garland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and I look forward to an exciting year.
